Installation Data Deletion Request
Use this page to request the deletion of information associated with an installation of the Bereshit app.
Bereshit does not use a traditional user account system. The request therefore relates to data associated with a specific installation of the app.
Opening this page or sending an email does not immediately delete any data. Each request is reviewed and processed manually.
How to submit a request
Send an email to support@bereshitbrowser.com using the subject:
Installation Data Deletion Request
You may include:
- Your device type and operating system
- The app version, when available
- The approximate date you started using the app
- Any other non-sensitive information that may help us identify the correct installation
We may request additional information to verify that the request relates to the correct installation.
Important security notice
Do not send us:
- An enrollment or testing code
- An API key
- A password
- A verification code
- A private or sensitive image URL
- A URL containing login information
- Financial information or identity documents
The Bereshit team will never ask you to send an enrollment code, password or access key.
What happens after the request?
After receiving the request, we will review the information and attempt to identify the relevant installation.
When the installation can be reasonably identified, we will revoke its associated access and delete or anonymize information that can be linked to it, subject to the system's technical structure and applicable security and operational requirements.
Limited non-identifying, aggregated or security-related records may be retained when required for security, abuse prevention or legal compliance.
We aim to respond to and process requests within 30 days.
